NZD/USD erases yesterday’s gains

FXStreet (Córdoba) - NZD/USD lost momentum yesterday and retreated from 0.7910 during the American session, today rose modestly on Asian hours but then weakened again and broke below 0.7855 accelerating to the downside.

Recently bottomed at 0.7825 and remain near the lows as the US dollar strengthens in the market and while NZD traders await dairy auction prices, expected to be release in a few hours.

NZD/USD remains sideways

Since last week the pair is moving sideways, hovering around the daily 20-SMA that stands at 0.7830. Despite trading above 0.7900 several times, the kiwi has been unable to confirm on top; while 0.7800 limited the downside. Yesterday traded under the mentioned level but it was rejected and rebounded sharply rising to 0.7910.
