No progress in Japanese inflation, consumer spending subdued
FXStreet (Bali) - Japanese inflation numbers came largely unchanged, with a down-tick in the core nationwide CPI the most notable outcome.
Overall household spending and jobless rate came weaker-than-expected, raising doubts over the prospects of both inflation and economic growth.
