Gold net long positions at lowest since January
FXStreet (Mumbai) - As per the data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on Friday, Gold net long positions fell for a fourth week in the last week, taking the total to its lowest since January.
The non-commercial futures contracts of Comex gold futures stood at 126,171 contracts in the data reported through February 24th, down 5563 contracts from the previous week’s total of 131,734 contracts. The weekly bullish positions fell by -3,705 contracts combined with a rise in the weekly bearish positions by 1,858 contracts.
Meanwhile, during the reporting time period - February 17th to February 24th – Gold fell for the fourth week from USD 1208.60 to USD 1204.70/Oz levels.
