Fed’s Kashkari: Unclear if tax cut will lift long-term growth rate

Speaking at NBC Bank's Regional Economic Indicators Forum (REIF) conference in Duluth, Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari commented on the recent US tax reforms and said:

   •  Surprised by how much tax cut has raised confidence

   •  Not sure if tax cut will lead to more investments

   •  Unclear if tax cut will lift long-term growth rate

   •  Unclear how tight labour market is
