ABC Comey interview: what will he say and how will markets react?

On the hour, ABC will be showing the interview with Comey where he apparently said things that "left people in the room stunned."  

For a while now, Mr. Trump has waged a ferocious counterattack against Mr. Comey, most of which Tweets came through last week and today and while Comey has portrayed the president in his book as an unethical and dishonest leader. From the interview, it has already been leaked that Comey compared Trump to a 'mob boss'.

Just today, Trump was calling Mr. Comey a liar and denying he had asked him for loyalty over Twitter. He said that Mr. Comey should be jailed, while he was accusing him of leaking classified information, while at the same time, lying to Congress.  The president also called Mr. Comey a “slimeball”  and said he had thrown the former attorney general, Loretta Lynch, “under the bus.”

However, putting tit for tat insults aside, the markets could descend into further risk aversion over the event depending on what is told by Comey.
