Fed's Kaplan: Optimistic US, China will find ways to deal with trade issues

Adding to his earlier comments about expecting the U.S. economy to remain healthy, Dallas Fed President Robert Kaplan said that he is optimistic that the U.S. and China will find ways to deal with the trade issues. 

The market seems to be ignoring these optimistic remarks, forcing the US Dollar Index to stay in its tight daily range a little above mid-97s.
